Holy geez a lot going on!!!

Current Affairs

So today has been a big day for me. For one, I got my diploma in the mail today. So that means that I am no longer a college student. I graduated from ITT Tech with a bachelor of science degree in Technical Project Management with a GPA of 3.77. So I did alright with that. Obviously I am happy about that. Then after I got off work, I went over to the Mitsubishi Dealership and got a car. Yes, that’s right folks, the Exploder is no longer my problem. So don’t look for me any more in the white explorer. Instead, you have to look for me in a 2006 Pearl White Mitsubishi Galant. If you don’t know what that looks like, then check out the picture. This isn’t of mine, but it gives you an idea of what to look for.
06410galangts00014552_2 Not only those things, but I am dating a really cool girl to go along with that. So I think my brother-in-law said it the right way earlier tonight. He said "My, how fortunes have changed". And it is the truth. Lots of stuff is happening. And I am also looking around at other jobs. So if anyone needs a good computer technician, I am available and looking. Just throwing that out there. Hopefully things will stabilize in that area soon as well. Lots of stuff in a small amount of time. It is crazy.

Evanescence isn’t dead!!!!

Music

I got really excited today. I was reading the new Rolling Stone today and much to my surprise, I looked in the "In the Studio" section and saw Amy Lee, and right under her, the name Evanescence was on the page. I got excited and read about it. So here is the deal. I don’t keep up with music in the way that I did my first couple of years of college when I didn’t have anything better to do, so I get excited when someone I like has something new coming out. I thought that Evanescence had broken up, but instead, all that happened was that Ben Moody, the guitarist/ songwriter left. So they have a new album coming out in October called "The Open Door". I am so psyched for this. I have loved both their major studio release, and their live album. But they said that the new sound is a little more like "Fiona Apple than new metal", so I am not sure what to make of that, but I will trust Amy Lee and hope that she doesn’t mess things up. Because if this album goes well, then they are suddenly the biggest rock band in America again. We can only wait and see.
