TV Watching

A real quick post before my lunchbreak is over. Yesterday at work, we were slammed so we kicked some tail and got things done by today’s deadline. Well, after that, we were all worn out. And I had a lot of items to attend to last night that did not get done because I was just drained. So, I did what any American would do. I vegged in front of the TV for the evening. I sat down at about 6:30 and watched shows until about 10:30 last night. I got caught up on Smallville and One Tree Hill since I didn’t get a chance to watch them on the night that they air. Then I was bombarded with viewing possibilities last night. There was the final task of the Apprentice, the O.C. had a lot going on last night, and the XBOX Revealed show was on TV so I just enjoyed being completely useless and caught up on all of my viewing. It was a nice relaxing time, and I know that it was good for me, but I still feel pretty useless because I didn’t multitask like I normally do when I watch TV. I will normally be doing homework, or reading articles online or work on a computer while this is going on. But instead last night, I sat down in my chair and just enjoyed the mindnumbing experience that is Television.
