Okay, this kills me. I am looking in the paper on Sunday and see the Daredevil DVD in the ads and it is in a different box. So i think "Huh, i wonder what that is all about". After looking on the internet for a couple of minutes, i find out that it is a Director’s Cut of the movie. That means there is another 30 minutes of footage in the movie that wasn’t in the original movie. It kills me that they do stuff like that all the time for the movies i have bought already. I try my best to wait alot of times for these special editions, but it doesn’t always happen because i am an impatient person. I love the Daredevil movie, (i know alot of people who hated it) but i just can’t justify spending another 20 bucks for 30 minutes of extra footage and a cool box. Not to say I haven’t done it before for some of my favorite movies, just that it doesn’t happen very often. If places would do like a trade-in type of thing on the regular edition then it would be alot easier on those of us who buy movies the day of the release. But i guess that’s how they make their money.
Ugh….I am one of those that thought it was atrocious…and I know bad action movies =)
