Couple of things

Okay, there are a couple of things i thought you might want to know. One thing, I added a bunch of pictures to my photo album from Disney that i thought some people might like to see cause they are really cool. I especially like the ones from Star Wars.

The other thing i thought i would address is the banner at the top of the page. I know some people are wondering what the deal is with the subheading "born in the wrong century". The reason for that is that many times i have thought about how different things would have been if i would have been born in medieval times. In a time where honor and chivalry were the foremost things on people’s minds, when people actually looked out for other people. When learning how to ride horses and wield a sword were commonplace. It would have been an amazing thing to experience. I am kind of overtaken by the thought of living in that time and experiencing the things they went through. I know that it would have been a hard life, but that is part of the reason why people did things the way they did, they earned what the had and respected similar people because of it. Today people don’t have any respect for each other or what they are going through from day to day. It kills me that people are as selfish and blind as they are to other people’s needs. I wish that a lot of people could experience that and really get a feeling that the world does not revolve around them, and i know it would do me a lot of good as well. Just one of those things that i think about from time to time.

Oh yeah, and the crests on either side of the banner are the Myers family crests. That used to be something that people would take pride in exhibiting, but today people don’t even want others to know their first name much less their last.

  1. Hey, I had a feeling that was what the banner was about. And I agree that it would be pretty cool to have that idea of honor back.

Of course, the idea of chivalry is largely an invention of 11th century French romance authors in any case, but I get the point, and am on board. In fact, that’s why I tend to play the type of characters I do in almost every game, the paladin, the noble knight or cavalier.

Hey, massively long entry for you…I had to scroll down a little =)
