I love Tech shows. I don’t think that caught anybody off guard. It made me very sad when G4TV was spawned from the ruins of TechTV. Tech TV was just about technology and the internet and all of the stuff that goes along with it. G4 is a video game channel. I am not a big gamer, so it doesn’t really appeal to me. I mean, they have some good segments and whatnot, but it isn’t enough to get me to stay tuned in. But what is good is that there have been multiple shows and avenues that people have come from to make some great content available on the internet for free. And the people who make the content are formerly people who were a part of the Tech TV crew.
There is Digg and Diggnation, This Week in Tech, ExtremeTech, Systm, The Broken, and this show called DigitalLife TV.
It is really cool and makes for my Screensavers type fix. I really enjoy this show and if you ask me, it is what IPTV will be in a few years. It will be quality tv that you can download when it is available so that you can watch it whenever and some of it will be big budget and others will be more of a homebrew type of thing. So if you like Tech segments and whatnot, download a show or two from here and see if you like it. I love the show and support it and broadcast my love all around the web.
