My love/hate relationship with Tech

There are times when I couldn’t imagine being without technology, and then there are those times when I wish I had never touched the stuff. The reason this comes out is that as I have posted before, my phone died this past weekend. Okay, could be worse right? We’ll see. With Cingular’s service, you have a SIM card that has all of your contacts and stuff on it that the phone runs off of. So that way it seems like you would have multiple points of failure. But the problem is, that in case you didn’t know it, after your phone has gotten the contacts off of the SIM card, the phone no longer looks at your SIM card for that information, instead it stores it on the phone. Now that all seems like it would be stuff that wouldn’t even affect you, and it doesn’t… until your phone dies. So now, all of the numbers that I have gotten since I got my phone 2 years ago have been lost. I have all of the ones from before then, but not between then and now. So I have pretty much lost any form of contact with a lot of people that I have gotten phone numbers from for the past couple of years. So if you want me to have your number and have changed phone numbers or gotten a new phone or whatever since about the time I graduated ITT in 2003, then send me an email. Just send it to aarontn@gmail.com . Technology is just frustrating sometimes.
