Ipod Video

How sweet is this. Nyko (who makes a lot of video gaming extras) is apparently now getting into the iPod accessories business. Their biggest endeavor is this little gem that converts any iPod with a dock connector into a personal video player. All you do is put the iPod in after you have moved a few video files over to the hard drive of the player and stick it in and go. How sweet is that? Brandon, Glenn, I know you guys think it’s cool.
The picture on the left is the picture I have found at multiple pages, but on CNET I found the picture on the right, which I like better. We will see what comes of this, but I think it is awesome. It is called the Nyko Movieplayer. Not introduced into the wild yet, still in captivity. Hopefully it will be released soon.
**Update February 25, 11:00am**
The movieplayer is due out in the spring, and will have a total of 8 hours play time. PC World says it will likely be somewhere between $200 and $250. There is a commercial spot here for it. They are also putting out a few other iPod accessories. One being a button relocator so you can put all of the buttons on the top of the iPod for like, jogging and everything. I don’t know how much this will be, but if they keep it under 40 bucks I think it will do alright. Here is their page for it.
The possibilities with that are endless, do you have any estimates on the pricing?
Yeah, that was my question as well….pricing…
