iPod SportWrap

I am a runner. Not a constant runner, even though I try, because life always seems to get in the way of me being as physically fit as I am capable of being. But I hate holding onto my iPod when I run because I am always afraid I will drop it and render the hard drive useless. So I have been looking for a little while now for an armband that will hold my iPod effectively and make it more of a runner’s buddy than it is at this point. So, after going to the iPodlounge and checking out every review of iPod cases to run with, I found one that I liked from XtremeMac.com. It wrapped around the upper arm and was very unobtrusive, unlike many of the ones I looked at. So I decided to drop some hard-earned cash on a case that could do the job well.
A few days later, i got my case in the mail and it looked just like the picture. The packaging was nice so I was pumped that it wasn’t some junky piece like I was afraid of. So that night I went running and it worked awesome. Well, the end of that week I had my wisdom teeth taken out so that put me out of commission from running. But since then I have run a couple other times and I still like the case. It is pretty simple and holds my iPod nice and snug. It even has a little elastic spot for your excess headphones. I like the idea of this more than the implementation. It is just an elastic bubble kind of that you put your headphones in. It could have been done better if you could have wrapped the extra cord instead of wrapping it before putting it in the bubble. But it works really well. It is elastic and the iPod fits perfectly just as you would expect a product made for the iPod to do. So what I am driving at is that if you are a runner and have an iPod, then I would recommend it. It works really well. It is not huge. It is only as big as your iPod. They make it in black, blue, red, and yellow. But I am a fan of simple and sleek so I chose the black instead of the more flashy colors. So Glenn, Brandon, this is done with you in mind. You might want to check into one of these. They are pricey, at $30 bucks, you need to be serious about either your iPod or you health to get one. But with the comfort of knowing you won’t drop your iPod and the use of your hands while you run, I think it is worth it. So if this sounds like something you might like, here is a direct link to the product. Plus they make one for the iPod mini.

  1. Good deal, I knew they made them for the mini…was not so sure about for the regular, so that is great.

Won’t have to set it on the treadmill when I run then…thanks!
