Blade: Trinity

Well, i got to go see Blade. And I must say, it was pretty sweet. There were a lot of really cool action parts. The fight sequences were very well put together and very well choreographed. The sword fight scene between Blade and Dracula was amazing. With most sword scenes, they are sped up and you can tell because their footwork doesn’t quite go with their swordplay, which makes it look a little funny, but this fight scene was in real time. It looked really good, and could not have been a smoother fight.
Now, let me do a little section on Jessica Biel. The girl was unreal in this movie. I read that for her next movie, she actually had to tone down her workout routine so that her shoulders wouldn’t be so unrealistically big. She was in amazing shape for this movie, and it showed. You could tell that the actors really took thier time to get in character and get to the point that the characters would have been at physically. I had a friend accuse me of just enjoying the movie because Jessica Biel was in it. And while I will say it didn’t hurt that she was wearing a sports bra most of the movie, she was not the determining factor in me enjoying this movie. Wesley Snipes did a great job, as always, in the character of Blade. And Ryan Reynolds was great at comic relief in the part of Hannibal King. If you have ever laughed while watching "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place" or "Van Wilder", you need to see this movie. If not for the action, then for Ryan Reynolds witty banter. It is like watching Chandler from Friends, but without all of the complexes and censors. I will say that the F-Bomb was dropped multiple times in this movie, but in movies like this, it is to be expected. I enjoyed this movie alot, and think that if you like Sci-Fi or action movies, you need to see it. Blades 1 and 2 were great, but not anywhere near the starpower or excitement of this movie. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
