I know there are a few of you who have iPods or listen to MP3’s consistently. This is a really cool idea for said people. The idea of Podcasting is to send out news feeds via RSS so that people can get audio blogs instead of reading blogs. Think of it as Google News for you iPod. Using an application called iPodder (aptly named) you can find feeds that integrate with iTunes and will automatically load onto your iPod everytime you sync with your computer. You can have it make you select each cast you want or automatically get feeds from certain sites. It is really cool. My favorite website Engadget does a webcast each week that they have setup so you can use iPodder to get feeds. It is really cool to listen to little radio shows like that. There are even audio book sites that are setup on their network. I think it is really neat and convenient. For those of you who haven’t tried it, you should. You can search by category so that you can get your movie news or sports news just as easy as your gossip or religion commentary. You can download the application from Here. And there is also an index at this site. Try it out. Once you get used to it, you have to have your daily fix of news off of it.
