Busy Week

It has been such a crazy week. It started last Friday. Okay, so Friday night I get off work and go to the movies with a friend to see Mr. and Mrs. Smith. So we ran all over the place trying to find a theater that was not only showing the movie, but also had open seats. We went to 4 theaters trying to get tickets. So we ended up going to the 10:10 showing after initially going to try and get tickets to the 7:30 show. So I get up on Saturday and workout, then I get up and workout and do some work for some tests I am trying to take, then head to Blake’s house for a little Rook, burgers, and "The Aviator" movie. We stay over there til late, then head home and hit the hay.

Sunday morning, I get up and head to church. We leave church and go out to eat. I come home and within about an hour, I go over to Glenn’s house for some sushi and basketball. Monday night was really my only calm night. I took in a movie. Finally got around to seeing "Kingdom of Heaven", which was alright, but nothing special. There were some good scenes, but there were some pretty bad ones that offset it to make it simply an average movie.

But then Tuesday night, work had a little get-together at Thunderworld for lots and lots of bowling, video games, and go-karts. And it was nice that we could do any of these activities all we wanted. Work rented out the facility for all we wanted. It was fun, but did not make it a calming time as there was a lot to do, and not a lot of time. I will say there were a few games that were a lot of fun. One was Dance Dance Revolution, because I think we all know I have some serious dance moves. Okay, so serious is synonymous with terrible in this sentence. But the other one was a really cool shooting game where you actually have to move to reload and dodge bullets. It was awesome. I would love to have one of those arcade machines in my house. It was lots of fun. Plus it was a workout on the knees.
Then Wednesday, I get off work and go to the movies to see Batman, get in at 8, eat, and then go play basketball til about 11. Thursday I get off work, eat, and then head to church to meet with the guys that are helping to do the music for the new H2O Post-Modern service at First Baptist Church of Maryville in August.

So now, finally, I get a little bit of time to catch up on some movies. So keep an eye on the Current Movies list for updates to see what is worth seeing and what is worth renting.
