So this weekend, a friend of mine let me borrow the Firefly boxed set of DVD’s from the cancelled TV show. It is really a good show. It got 14 episodes and that is it. Now they are making a movie out of it. Makes me even more pumped about the Serenity movie coming out soon.
But I got to thinking about what shows have gotten axed early that had a good following and did some searching. Over at Listology, there is a top 14 of shows that were cancelled before their time. Fox has 9 of those 14 under its belt. And really, it could also add Greg the Bunny to that list, which is also a Fox show. They are notorious for cancelling shows without giving them the time to really get the viewership that they could get. At least with the money that Serenity will bring in, there will be a possibility of getting the Firefly show back on air.
You think they cancelled Greg the Bunny too soon?
