‘Firefly’ Will Reprise its Entire Run

Starting next week the SciFi channel will show ‘Firefly’ (one of the sweetest shows ever) in the correct order including shows never aired on the SciFi channel. 7:00 Fridays starting next week.
But my question is why? Not why are they showing it. But why are they showing it on Friday nights. FOX did the exact same thing when the show debuted a few years ago on its channel and showed it on Friday nights. It kills me. You have this awesome show and nobody will see it cause it will be on Friday nights. Friday night is the death sentence for anything but family friendly shows. When will the execs learn? I guess that we will have to rely on the Serenity movie to bring back the series and not the reruns of the show now.
