Google Pack is Live

Yesterday at CES, there was a Google keynote where a few new things were introduced. Well, Google Pack is one of those things. Google pack is a downloader and updater for Google’s software. You can get all of their downloadable software in one simple package. Here is the rundown

Google Toolbar for surfing the web more easily.

Mozilla Firefox with the Google toolbar so you can have the most secure browsing experience.

Picasa for the best photo organizing and viewing experience possible on your PC.

Google Desktop so you can search your hard drive as easily as you can search online.

Google Earth so you can find anything on earth easily and take a look at it as well.

Google Talk to get you talking to other Googlers through an instant messaging client.

Google Pack Screensaver so you can setup your pictures to view when you aren’t using your machine.

Norton 2005 Special Edition with 6 months of free updates. I don’t recommend this one, but it is there nonetheless.

Trillian so you can talk to everyone on MSN, Yahoo, and AOL instant messenger through one client.

Realplayer for viewing streaming videos online.

Adobe Reader 7 to help you view those PDF documents easily.

Galleryplayer HD Images just to look pretty so you can have something to put in your Google Screensaver.

Ad-Aware SE Personal to help you keep your computer free and clean of anything that could takeover your machine.

And don’t forget that even though you may see a lot of them, you can choose which ones you actually want. So you don’t have to download all of the ones like Norton, but the rest are fair game if you want them. I would recommend downloading it. It has a lot of fun tools that you can enjoy.
