Elizabethtown

I just saw the trailer for this movie, and it looks really good. It has Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst, Susan Sarandon, Jessica Biel, Judy Greer, and Alec Baldwin in it. So it is not without its amount of clout. I am sure that most people have never seen Orlando Bloom in anything other than the movies where he wields a sword and has many menacing posing sequences. But I saw the Calcium Kid last year, and really enjoyed it. The guy can act, there is no doubt about that. He just hasn’t found his movie to really shine. Everyone knows him from Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Carribean, but in those movies, he played second fiddle. I was hoping that he would show up and do a great job in Kingdom of Heaven, but the script was lacking, so it did badly at the box office. But with Cameron Crowe helming the picture, I think that this could be his movie. I have given you the link to the trailer for it. I think it will be a really good movie. Kind of in the same vein as Garden State. So it comes out in October and we will just have to see how it does.
